Santiago joined Momentum Real Estate Partners, LLC in 2012 and currently serves as Director of Operations and Partner. In this role, he oversees the operations, accounting, and financial performance of all properties.
He is responsible for establishing and implementing the value enhancement strategies through the correct allocation of resources and has been involved in the acquisition and disposition of 4,440 units with transaction values of approximately $1.38 billion. Additionally, he oversees the financial reporting process and is actively involved in capital raising and investor relations efforts.
Prior to joining Momentum, Santiago worked with Prudential Real Estate Investors in Mexico City as an investor associate. He managed mixed-use and affordable housing platforms in excess of $1.5 billion.
Before Prudential, Santiago spent two years as a strategic consultant at A.T. Kearney, Mexico, where he was involved in a wide variety of projects that included working with Mexico’s Ministry of Economics, whose mission is to improve the country’s competitiveness across a wide range of industries and initiatives.
Santiago has an MBA degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Real Estate and Finance. Santiago earned his B.S. in mechanical and electrical engineering, graduating magna cum laude from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico.
